The Kiwanis of Greater Pismo Beach is once again awarding scholarship funding to Arroyo Grande High School students meeting the criteria and taking the time to apply.
The awards are intended to assist those students continue with higher education once they have graduated from high school and are limited to six applicants decided by committee.
A total of $3000 is allocated annually towards this endeavor.
Guidelines for the Kiwanis of Greater Pismo Beach Scholarships:
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Letter of Recommendation
- Copy of Transcripts
- Letter of Introduction from applicant stating their educational goals and detailing their community service activities.
All materials in the application must be HARD COPIES and mailed to the address below. NO email applications will be accepted, NO EXCEPTIONS.

The cutoff date to receive applications is April 2, 2022. Applications received after that date will not be considered.
For over 50 years the members of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Pismo Beach have dedicated themselves to their local community and especially the welfare of the youth. Collectively they have volunteered thousands of hours and made substantial monetary donations to help insure that this community is a model for America. 100% of the funds raised by Kiwanis of Greater Pismo Beach are put directly towards projects for children and the local community.
We are committed to actively supporting programs and projects which will give our children the best possible safe environment in which to learn and grow into outstanding American citizens.
